Our special events are an incredible way to support the well-being of Black TLGBQIA+/SGL across the African Diaspora and the world while having a great time doing it! Through affinity spaces, wellness retreats, educational workshops, mutual aid networks, and cultural exchange excursions throughout the African Diaspora, we seek to cultivate a community deeply rooted in liberation, transformation, and love.
Whether you’ve attended our special events in the past or are new to the R.O.A.D community we hope you’ll come out and join us. Our special events range from galas to creative fun, cocktail receptions, and more – we have something for everyone!

ROAD Golden Garden Brunch, A Celebration of Black Trans and Queer Joy
About this Event
Reuniting of African Descendants’ Golden Garden Brunch will take place August 29th, 2021 from 11am to 1pm, in celebration of Black Pride in NYC. This event will center intergenerational Black Queer Joy and prioritize Black Queer and Trans women, non-binary people, and gender-expansive folks.
Special appearance by Speaker, Performer, Model . Performance by and Sasha Washington. Sound vibes by DJ April
The event is by INVITATION ONLY and MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
