Since 2020, R.O.A.D has remained steadfast in its unwavering commitment to support Trans and Queer individuals across the African diaspora facing unexpected emergencies. These challenges encompass a wide spectrum, from homelessness to urgent medical needs and asylum cases (in partnership with Rainbow Railroad). In response, we have strategically established highly effective crowdfunding initiatives designed to enable us to rapidly raise essential funds for immediate response and redistribution to those in dire need.

Our dedication transcends borders and extends to our siblings residing in countries such as Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jamaica, Guyana, Haiti, and beyond. We have not only been the recipients of their direct requests for assistance but have also done our utmost, within our financial capacity, to honor and fulfill those requests.

The funds generated through our Global ROAD Mutual Aid initiative play a pivotal role in sustaining our mission. These funds are consistently directed towards addressing the direct requests we receive from our community members.
