Multidisciplinary Artist

Morticia Godiva is a talented multidisciplinary artist who is based in the Bronx, New York. Over the past six years, since relocating from Florida, she has been actively involved in creative work in the city. Morticia wrote, produced, and starred in her film titled "Feeling Like an Orchid," which tells a captivating story about polyamory. She also made a film called "Boomerang," which is an ode to Fem Queens, questioning the purpose of throwing a boomerang. Currently, the Long Wharf Theatre is scheduled to produce an Afro-futuristic play, "Poly Pockets," which Morticia wrote. Her artistic endeavors often intersect with her identities, and she is not afraid to explore themes or topics that delve into the darker side of life, including horror, sci-fi, and other morbid aspects. Besides her creative pursuits, Morticia serves as the Director of Community Engagement for the Black Trans Travel Fund, a dedicated black trans-led collective committed to providing financial support to black trans women worldwide. Morticia chooses to share her casual stories, avoiding themes rooted in trauma.

Executive Director, Black Trans Travel Fund

Devin Michael Lowe is a dedicated community organizer who focuses on liberating Black transgender individuals from the constraints of capitalism, white supremacy, and cis-hetero-patriarchy. As a queer and transgender male, he has a strong desire to allocate resources towards his community and help establish a world where Black trans people are not only visible, but also respected, safeguarded, supported, and valued. Devin's involvement in the entertainment industry as an actor and media producer has led him to work on various productions that concentrate on the lived experiences of transgender individuals. His current position as a Community Media Organizer for Black Trans Media provides him with additional opportunities to further this advocacy. Devin's understanding of the importance of prioritizing the most marginalized and of transmasculine individuals contributing towards communal solidarity to support Black trans women culminated in the establishment of the Black Trans Travel Fund, where he serves as founder and Executive Director.

Photographer

Tony's creative work is centered on exploring the concept of movement within "still" stereoscopic photography. In order to accomplish this, he uses different display techniques such as the digital display, lenticular print, and the combination of stereographic GIF images with conventional motion film and video. Tony's artistic vision draws inspiration from various sources, including animation, science fiction, and other popular genre television, while also delving into personal memoirs and critical narratives. His work often reflects the interplay between these various themes, resulting in an evocative body of work that challenges the viewer's perceptions and expectations of what photography can achieve.

Health & Wellness

Kristopher is dedicated to creating sustainable improvements for queer and trans individuals in the US and worldwide. He is committed to promoting health and wellness within the TGNC community and brings a fitness enthusiast's mindset to his work. As a Benefit Engagement Specialist at an NYC youth organization, Kristopher helps TGNC youth access vital documents and essential healthcare services to ensure they receive the support they need. His work with ROAD and within his community has given him a unique perspective on the challenges facing marginalized communities. Kristopher values the power of community-driven change and collaborates with others to make positive lasting impacts. With his experience in the fitness industry, he develops unique strategies for promoting well-being within the individuals he serves, showing his dedication to empowering the TGNC community in everything he does.
