We Speak What We Carry: A Black Pride Poetry Night of Ancestral Echoes, Queer Joy & Radical Remembrance

  • Women Building Up 401 State Street Brooklyn, NY, 11217 United States (map)

We Speak What We Carry is about making space to tell the truth: to lament the losses, to speak the rage, to name the grief; and just as importantly, to celebrate the joy, survival, and wisdom that Black trans and queer people, especially those of us who are directly impacted by carceral systems, continue to cultivate across generations.

✨Join us for a post- Black Pride poetry night of ancestral echoes, queer joy, radical remembrance, and liberation from carceral trauma
